I’ve considered this concept — the need verus the right to publish for awhile. When I was first out of college, I thought it was terrible that publishing was a controlled process. Now, as I search the internet for information, I wonder if that was in fact the case.
How do you validate internet data? You go to a published (validated) source and confirm the information. How is that different then 20 years ago? More people have access to the baseline informatoin, and many people act upon that information right or wrong. Which means the potential for errors is greater now then 20 years ago.
But the control is still the same.
So this blogging thing, ultimately what are we doing?
